Unfortunately, due to the competitive nature of the Dental Insurance atmosphere there are some insurance plans that dictate care, provider, and coverage. Therefore, we devote serious and sustained effort toward our affordability promise to ensure Dentistry remains affordable no matter what, in order that no person is ever forced to choose finances over their Oral Health Care.

Self-Insured / Self-Pay
If you aren’t eligible for dental benefits through work, are self-employed, or for any other reason, Premier Dental, offers creative solutions to meet your circumstances.

What types of dental insurance plans are there?

PPO

PPO meaning Preferred Provider Organization. This type of plan is designed with the freedom to choose your dental provider and gives you the option to receive benefits with both in-network and out-of-network providers.

HMO/DMO

Health / Dental Maintenance Organization are plans that require that you choose one Primary Care Dentist from a list of approved providers that are in-network. The DMO Company has already decided what Dental treatments should cost, and the "In Network" Dentists have negotiated to adhere to those predetermined prices. Therefore, one Primary Care Dentist must do all your Dentistry for the DMO to apply.

Discount Plans

These plans follow a membership model, where you pay a yearly fee in order to have access to the same Dental Services but with discounted prices, but only from participating Dentists. It's a similar model to wholesale clubs.

Medicaid / Government Plans

Dental Medicaid works by providing coverage for dental services to eligible individuals who qualify based on their income and other criteria set by the state's Medicaid program. The plan covers a range of services which may include routine check-ups, cleanings, X-rays, fillings, extractions, and sometimes root canals or crowns. The specific services covered can vary by state, so it's important to check with the state Medicaid agency for details.
