Dr. Metnes is a native Buckeye, born and raised in Cleveland. He earned his DDS degree from Ohio State University in 1981. For a short time after graduation, he lived and practiced in New Haven, Connecticut, where he met and married his wife, Marianne. Since moving back to Columbus in 1989, he has focused his career on private practice general dentistry (now with over 35 years’ experience).
Originally, Dr. Metnes was attracted to dentistry by the high degree of precision and artistic hand skills required to practice it. He feels “blessed to have been given these skills and to employ them for a positive impact on the health and well-being of [his] patients. [He] truly [enjoys] what [he does]."
Professionally, Dr. Metnes is a member of the ADA, ODA, Spectrum Dental Society and American Academy of Oral Systemic Health.
“I feel…blessed to have been given these skills and to employ them for a positive impact on the health and well-being of my patients. I truly enjoy what I do."
