Dr. Jenny Huynh was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. She was asked at the age of eight what she wanted to be. She had no idea but she responded, “the person who cleans her teeth”. Inspired by her only hygienist, she set forth to explore dentistry. Supported by her parents and her love of education, she was very determined. As time went on, she knew she could be a dentist.
Dr. Huynh earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from The Ohio State University, followed by her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2022. Throughout her training, she gained extensive experience in various dental settings as a receptionist, assistant, and hygienist, developing a deep appreciation for all aspects of patient care.
She went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program on the Native American Reservations in Winslow, Arizona, where she expanded her clinical and cultural understanding of dentistry. Upon returning to Columbus, she now serves the central Ohio community as a locum (substitute) general dentist, providing compassionate, high-quality care across diverse practices.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Huynh enjoys tennis, fitness, and exploring new restaurants and experiences. In 2024, she founded Recreational Tennis in Columbus to help others enjoy the sport. She lives in Columbus with her husband and their Bombay cat, Charlee.
